Another collection. Another year.
My heart still burns compassion towards
ASCII. Lots of shit has happened since
I was active the last time.. I've got work
up to my neck ALL THE TIME so I haven't
had the time to keep up with the ascii
releases of today. Who's the biggest now?
Any releases at all? When one does computing
for living, it dies as a hobby.
It's funny how so many ascii artists
do Web design! Too many to mention, heh..
I guess the designing principles in both
ascii and Web are quite the same. Stretching
the techniques to the extreme to create
miracles. Even as the Web is seen as
"HI-TECH", I only see it as primitive shit
difficult to handle. Maybe when every flat
has a 128MB line it could really change our
daily life.
At the moment the Net is in such a ridiculous
state - We have the equipment, but what's the
target with it? What's the use? What we need
is good services to provide the end users
with. It'd be a pity to see Net only become
a merchandising forum.
